Hey Y'all,
I went into Google docs and created a little document. I like the idea of being able to have several people at different branches pulling a document together and editing it, etc. It can be hard to get a committee together often enough to do that, I think. One of the ways (besides the one just mentioned) I can see using this is with the spreadsheets. Do the money report on the website, then have Jean Bowling as the person to see it. No more printing it off, sending it to her, etc. Great way to do the money. Still haven't figured out about the other paperwork that goes with the money report, though. One step at a time. It would also work with the stats, too. We "edit" it every day, and at the end of the month, whomever does stats just pulls it up.
This whole thing seems a good idea, except for my constant worry about security. How secure is this? Can ONLY the people registered as readers see it? How sure can we be about that? Well, this is one of the things that I always worry about. I don't usually buy things online, either. Just don't trust the great "Out-there."

Re: Buying things online
Most of the big security issues "out there" that I've heard of deal with a company's/organization's lax measures after you've submitted your info--keeping credit card numbers on an online computer instead of offline. Just look at what happened in the State of Ohio's debacle. Of course its all just a matter of who you trust. Do you trust Amazon to keep it safe, or better yet, what about the folks that handle the accounts at Amazon? Do you trust that waitress/waiter at the Bob Evan's to bring back your card without having swiped it themselves on a personal reader?
